Exciting Recent Events

Over the last few months much has happened with Friends of Isaan. Some exciting, fun, and interesting things have happened out in the villages. Much has happened at EQ's village and also in Jin's village.
There has also been a lot of work that has happened at the Training Center. Without your support in prayer, encouragement, and finances these things would not be possible.

Praise the Lord the Jon passed his ordination interview with flying colors! Please pray for the Chase family as they prepare to return to Thailand at the end of this month. There time visiting family, friends, and churches in Canada and America has been good. This has been the wettest rainy season in the last 30 years in Thailand. This has caused much flooding throughout Thailand and has damaged lots of houses, businesses, and farmland. They are still calling for more storms to hit this region. So, please pray for the flood waters to subside and the rains to stop. EQ has specifically asked for people to pray for the rain to stop so that their mushroom business will be able start well. This will be a big week for Friends of Isaan. Jon and Joy are still in California. Joy has been speaking in a few local churches about the ministry here. Jon will have his ordination interview on Monday, September 19. Please pray for clarity of mind for him as he is quizzed on all he has been studying for the past few years. May all that he has learned stay with him even in the somewhat nerve wracking interview process. Pray that hearts would be moved to support Friends of Isaan in regular prayer as a result of Joy's speaking engagements. |
