Prayer Update March week One |
Thank you for continuing to pray for Louisa as she is in America recovering from her head injury. Please pray for Jon as he had knee surgery today. Pray he will heal quickly and be able to return to normal ministry soon.
At the Team Isaan job training center in Udon, the men have begun building a large room used for steaming mushroom containers. This will allow us to decrease our costs by approximately 50%, increase profits by allowing us to sell the containers to other people interested in starting mushroom farms, and also allow us to provide training for others.
Finally, we ask that you pray for the church meeting in Baan That this weekened. Last June, one family accepted Jesus and began meeting as a church together. Over the past few weeks they have invited two more families to join them and learn about who God is. These two families have finished learning the stories and now have been given an opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Pray for them as they contemplate this decision. Pray that they would accept Christ and God would continue to grow this church and use them to reach their village.

Prayer Update February week Four |
After consulting a doctor in America, Louisa will be returning to her home in the States to get the necessary rest that she needs. Pray for her as she travels home on Thursday, Feb. 25. Pray that God would continue to heal her and renew her so that she can return to the field later this year. Praise God, Jon's mother is doing better so Jon is able to remain on the field and continue focusing on the ministry.
In the past year, we have started numerous farming projects in our target area. We praise God that these projects are providing income for Christian workers which allows them to continue to minister in their villages. Please pray with us as we seek ways to improve these projects so that they are completely self-sustaining and flourishing.
In about 45 days we will be holding the annual International Day of Prayer for the Isaan. There will be prayer sheets and a short video available for download for private or church gatherings. We will send you more information in the weeks ahead.
